26 pounds before I'm 26 - Days 3 and 4

Okay, posting everyday is a challenge and I totally did not post on Saturday.

Well, it just means that I was busy with doing stuff so I actually have things to write in the blog...

Anyway, on Saturday I went to swing dancing lessons with my friend Eric. We took a beginner class and now we're taking a private class together so we can get caught up and take another group class in January. Swing dancing is so much fun! I have to thank my friend Mike for introducing me to Swing dancing. It is definitely a work out, but it is so fun you forget that you're actually burning calories. I can't wait to take more classes.

From there we got some lunch at this place called Kebobs about a block away from the dance studio. I got the Chicken Schwarma plate. It was good, but I had to not eat the rice because I have stopped eating carbs past breakfast.

Anyway, from there I hung out with my friend Josh and we watched this movie called Troll Hunter. Norwegians fighting trolls. Awesome. It's low budget, but it's pretty quality, so I recommend you check it out. Also, we went to this awesome bar called Bat 17 and got a delicious sandwich - which I took most of the bread off of it.

Anyway, Sunday was mostly chillin' with the fam, making some lefse (a Norwegian food - it looks like a tortilla) as well as getting our Christmas tree.

Also, some new developments on the Techie front as well. I signed myself up for the two A+ cert exams (Essentials and Practical) in February, as well as starting my Comp Sci I class in January. I also plan at some point taking the GRE so I can get into grad school for Comp Sci as well.

I am trying to learn as much of Python as I can right now. It's fairly easy so far, but I'm only on Lesson 17.

I can't wait for Christmas day. It's just going to be me and my dad chillin', which means it I will be spending most of the day playing Skyrim and programming. :)

Anyway, next Sunday is Christmas with the extended family on my Dad's side. Typically means lots of food. Really fatty, greasy food. I'll to make sure I don't over do myself like I usually do.
